Sustainability work

We have initiated a long-term sustainability effort that includes the global sustainability goals

Green Key

The hotel is working on certifying itself in Green Key and hopes to achieve the goal by 2026.

Green Key is an international sustainability label for facilities in the tourism industry and is a leading international label for facilities in the tourism industry with more than 6000 Green Key-labeled facilities in over 70 countries worldwide.

The Green Key label serves as a structured tool for facilities that want to improve their sustainability efforts and reduce their environmental impact. Green Key-labeled facilities meet ambitious criteria in 13 different sustainability areas.

Green Keys criteria

Green Key’s criteria include areas such as water, chemicals, waste, energy, food, and green spaces and are designed to reduce facilities’ environmental impact and improve their sustainability efforts.

The criteria also cover education, information, and social responsibility.

Global goals

The Global Goals are the most ambitious agenda for sustainable development ever adopted by the world’s countries, and they exist to achieve four fantastic things by 2030:

To eradicate extreme poverty.
To reduce inequalities and injustices in the world.
To promote peace and justice.
To solve the climate crisis.
