Dog sledding

A dog sled is a sled pulled by dogs, usually from 2 to 18 dogs, and is a way to travel on snow. The sled typically holds two to four people, and dog sled tours are available in varying lengths, from shorter half-day tours to longer expeditions. It is a beautiful and quiet way to move through the snow and out into nature. The dogs always bark before the start because they are eager to head out on the tour.

The most common dog breeds used in dog sledding are Alaskan husky and Siberian husky, which are bred for hard work, but Greenland dogs are also used.
