In the spring of 2026, Jesper Skarman carried out a spectacular expedition across Svalbard – from south to north. For 34 days in complete isolation, he skied 600 kilometers through the Arctic wilderness in temperatures down to minus 33 degrees.
With a 60-kilogram sled behind him, through biting snowstorms, total ”whiteout,” and nightly polar bear watches, both his physical and mental strength were put to the test. Jesper shares his experiences, dramatic moments, and the unique insights he brought home from the ice.
