Lappstaden

Lappstaden is Sweden’s largest preserved Sami church town. In Lappstaden, there are over 80 kåtor and storage sheds from the late 1700s which are still owned by Sami families. The last weekend in August each year, Lappstaden is genuinely used during the Storstämningshelgen, a Sami church festival.
