We take infection control very seriously and do our utmost to ensure that you are safe when you visit our hotel or stay with us.
Hotel Laponia follows official recommendations for the control of Covid-19 infection.

For you as a guest, this means that we:
• Practices good hygiene with regular hand washing and rubbing alcohol.
• Regular cleaning of frequently used areas and surfaces.
• Keep a distance of at least 1 meter to each other.
• Inform about our actions.

Routines and measures for infection control on Hotel Laponia’s common areas:
• Regular cleaning of contact areas in the reception, in bathrooms,
in elevators, stairs, etc.
• Regular cleaning of contact areas in conference rooms, restaurants
and breakfast rooms.
• Hand sanitizer available in all common areas.
• Offcourse we follow the restrictions and recommendations which applies from Swedish authorities.
• Confirmed cases from hotel guests are moved to separate accomodation outside hotel.

Hotel Laponia follows all the regulations and
krav från myndigheterna. Vi baserar våra rutiner på tre huvudprinciper för smittskydd. Dessa är god hygien,
reduced contact frequency between people and people with symtoms and/ or infection must stay at home / be isolated / in quarantine.

• Hotel rooms are thoroughly cleaned between each guest.

• Our cleaning is extra careful to wipe off:
door handles, taps, remote controls, hair dryers and contact surfaces that many people touch, as well as switches for lamps and other electronics.

• Glasses and towels are always replaced, regardless of whether they are used or not.

• Our staff uses one set of disposable gloves and one set of cleaning cloths per room.

• Where there is a high probability that a guest that has stayed in the room has been
nfected with Covid-19, or cases where this is confirmed, the cleaning of the room and other surfaces the guest has visited will be carried
out according to recommendations from the authorities. All textiles, blankets and pillows are washed.

• Covid test is available inside the hotel

• All key cards are cleaned upon return.

• Confirmed cases from hotel guests are moved to separate accomodation outside hotel.

• The products will mainly be served as portion.

• There should be no queues neither inside or outside the restaurant/
the breakfast room. If necessary, hotel
marks the floor surface with 1-meter markers.

Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance of the restaurant/
the breakfast room and at selected locations in the room.

Exposed areas and contact surfaces are cleaned 1-2 times per hour during opening hours. Exposed areas
such as payment terminals and menu cards are regularly wiped off in between every new guest.

• The hotel will prior that ordering and serving takes place at the table when possible.

• Tables and chairs are placed so that the guest can
keep 1 meter distance.

• Tables and chairs are cleaned between each guest.

• The hotel provide take away menue.

BEFORE THE CONFERENCE
• The size of the room and the rule of 1 meter distance
determines how many participants the conference can include.

• The hotel require a list of participants sent in advance. This is to ensure the number of participants so that the rules regarding distance can be followed and as a tool for possible infection tracking afterwards.

• Contact surfaces such as tables and chairs as well as other parts of the room are disinfected with alcohol as part of the cleaning before the start of the conference.

DURING THE CONFERENCE:
• Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and inside the premises.
• Written appropriations regarding infection control
routines have been placed around the premises with the request, among other things, keep a distance of 1 meter.
• Tables and / or chairs are placed with at least 1 meter distance.
• Exposed areas / surfaces are regularly wiped under
the conference. We are extra careful with areas such as
technical equipment, coffee machines, door handles and
other areas that many people touch.
• All serving in or outside the premises follows the authorities’ requirements and recommendations on hygiene and keeping a distance. Portion-packed food is recommended.
